Arzu Akgun (Istanbul, 1970), deals with everyday perspectives by bringing them to the third dimension on the wooden panel through female figures. The use of the artist's special color palette, the combination of cold and warm colors creates contrast on his works, which makes the painting more attractive. Akgün states that the single female figures seen in her works constitute the theme she focuses on both psychologically and sociologically. His works are in local and international collections.
