İLKE KUTLAY'S “SUPER EGO” EXHIBITION AT MERKUR 

İlke Kutlay's third solo exhibition "SUPEREGO From March 7 to March 31 at MERKUR
In "SUPEREGO", where the artist's latest works will take place, instead of the self-presenting figures and emotional expressions we have seen in his previous works, we will encounter solid figures with harsher expressions, standing mysterious and distant. 
Embodying the characters and instincts of the figures in the paintings with the animal figures standing next to them, the artist shapes the development of the individual's own ego by associating it with the past, environment, instincts and experiences. 
İlke Kutlay's third solo exhibition "SUPEREGO", which uses different materials such as PVC as well as canvas in her recent works, can be seen between 10:00 - 19:00 every day except Sundays between March 7 - 31, 2011.
The artist graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Painting in 2007 and continues her works in her studio in Istanbul.
