"LIFE WITH NAILS" EXHIBITION AT MERKUR
“I try to protect my thoughts and feelings by nailing them on statues.
I explain my own designs, the expression of my forms, and their permanence over a longer period of time by hammering them onto sculptures with nails. Maybe nails will idolize my sculptures to protect them from pressure. I protect by uploading idol meanings. Nails are driven all over us as if living on nails; Our free thoughts are hindered. On the contrary, I visualize my sculptures with nails, like "nails take nails". I'm protecting it.
I idolize human lives with an abstract expression. I sculpt the traces of civilization, the life, exhibition and love of humanity by nailing them onto my forms. More meaningfully, I describe life with nails. With harsh words, I try to describe the lives of more resilient people. Prints; I protect it with nails by designing unifying meanings and forms that are as resistant to culturelessness as nails. I add meaning to my sculptures with nails and transform them into sheltered lifestyles. Philosophically, sociologically, I transform the change of human culture and life into life in my sculptures.
