VOLKAN KIZILTUNÇ'S “EŞİK[TE]” EXHIBITION AT MERKUR

Ziya Tacir includes, inner and outside of structures that has architectural importance, views from today’s metropole provides, industrial and production compony displays in his works.

 

Starting point of ‘BOMONTI’ is coming from a beer factory in Turkey which was the first modern factory that was established by Bomonti Brothers from Swiss in 1890.

 

It is important to reflect the historical textures and architectural details while photographing the building for Ziya Tacir. First outstanding details of his works which are emphasizes for dereliction and neglegtion team are; hot colors, details and textures of the place, left overs from the factory like pipes and valves.

 

You can visit the 13 big sized, chromogenic color print and laminated on plexiglass  works in MERKUR between 8 December 2011- 2 January 2012.
