EZGİ DEMİREL,İPEK İNAL AND YEŞİM ŞAHİN'S “CHAOTIC MARKS” EXHIBITION AT MERKUR

In the exhibition curated by Denizhan Özer between January 6-28, 2012, the artists examine the colorful yet chaotic side of everyday life through paintings, sculptures and reliefs.

When we look carefully at the life of today's people, we see that they create a fictional reality dependent on themselves by moving away from their natural reality. Although this reality seems sympathetic and pleasant to us in a colorful, fast, numerical order, it is actually a chaos based on the culture of consumption.

The exhibition, which tries to question the time period we live in rather than aesthetic concerns, can be seen at MERKUR until January 28, 2012.
