“ARA GÜLER” EXHIBITION AT MERKUR

MERKUR invites art lovers to a pleasant journey to our memories with Ara Güler, who defines himself as a photojournalist and writes history with his camera.

​

Besides the iconic Istanbul photographs, many of which Ara Güler documented throughout his life, the less-seen Izmir, Bodrum and Aphrodisias photographs are once again at the MERKUR gallery after Artweek@Akarenler.

 

The special selection, which presents the "people" of Izmir, Bodrum and the ancient city of Aphrodisias, which he visited many times as a reporter, to the audience with his unique storytelling, will be on display at MERKUR until February 5th.  

 

Organized in cooperation with the Ara Güler Foundation, the exhibition can be viewed at the MERKUR gallery between January 5 and February 5, Monday-Friday between 12.00-19.00.
